One of Baltimore's oldest neighborhoods, Mount Vernon, boasts a unique blend of 19th-century charm and modern vitality. Its cobblestone streets and elegant brownstones provide a picturesque setting year-round, but during the Christmas season, the neighborhood truly comes alive with the spirit of the holidays.

Effortlessly weaving together old-world charm, maritime heritage and a vibrant contemporary culture, Fell's Point is a historic waterfront neighborhood in southeast Baltimore, just 1 mile from Inner Harbor and 2 miles from Rachael's Dowry Bed and Breakfast. We love this picturesque district for its Belgian block streets, historic buildings and a lively atmosphere that culminates in the annual Fell's Point Fun Festival.

Baltimore is home to roughly 200 unique neighborhoods, each with its own story. Tucked away in the heart of the city, between Inner Harbor and Fell's Point, is the charming enclave known as Little Italy. This vibrant neighborhood is a testament to its immigrant heritage and has become a hub for Italian-American culture, culinary delights and artistic expressions.

Here in Maryland, agriculture is our No. 1 industry, making our farm markets and orchards great places to get a mouth-watering taste of our biggest business. A number of family-owned farms not far from Baltimore give customers a first-hand chance to harvest nature's bounty and pick their own produce. Besides the undeniable fun of wandering through the fields, the produce you pick yourself is fresher, more nutritious and often tastes better than anything you'd find in a grocery store.

There's no better way to immerse yourself in the artistic spirit of Baltimore than by attending Artscape, the largest free outdoor arts festival in the United States. Spanning three days from September 22-24, this immersive festival showcases more than 200 performing artists and over 100 visual artists and artisans.
