Rachael's Dowry Bed & Breakfast Policies

Deposit: A deposit of one night's stay is required.
Taxes: Maryland State sales tax equals 6%; Baltimore Hotel Tax equals 9.5%; Baltimore Tourism Assessment equals 2%.
Smoking: Our inn provides a 100% non-smoking environment. Smoking inside our Inn will result in a $250 cleaning charge. Smoking, including cigars, cigarettes, e-cigarettes/vaping and marijuana, is not permitted on the property, including the balcony, courtyard and front garden area.
Check-in: 3 p.m. Early arrivals and late arrivals are available upon request. We do not have a front desk
Check out: 11 a.m. Late check-outs 11 a.m. to 1 p.m., an additional $50 fee applies.
Rates: Price is based on either Single or Double Occupancy. Maximum occupancy is 2 people per room, with the exception of the Carrie Frank room, which may accommodate 3 (fees apply). Specials/reduced rates may not apply to all dates.
Pets: Not permitted.

Children: We welcome children 10 and older. 
Photography: Casual photograph taking is encouraged; however, Photography Sessions MUST be prearranged with management and will incur additional fees.
WIFI: All guests are liable for illegal downloading while on our property.

CANCELLATIONS

• For cancellations made more than 30 days before the check-in date, the deposit will be refunded less a $49 booking fee. 
• For cancellations made less than 30 days before check-in, a cancellation fee equal to the cost of a one-night stay of the reservation will be assessed. Guests may request a gift certificate equal to the amount of the deposit, good for one year from the date of cancellation. 
• For cancellations made less than 48 hours before the arrival date, the cancellation fee is equal to the entire reservation.

Departures earlier than confirmed reservation dates will be responsible for all of the original nights booked. We cannot be responsible for unused nights due to the threat of bad weather and other travel-related mishaps or for changes in plans which shorten your stay.

A special cancellation policy exists for groups or individuals reserving more than two rooms for any given date. This policy extends the cancellation notification period from 14 to 30 days

BOOKINGS MADE THROUGH AN OUTSIDE ENTITY
Expedia, Booking.com, travel agents or any 3rd party are not eligible for Rachael's Dowry specials, discounts or unique arrangements. Cancellations MUST be made through the outside entity/agent.

GIFT CERTIFICATES
We accept all Rachael's Dowry Gift Certificates and Select Registry Gift Certificates.
